Terms and Conditions

By commissioning me in any kind of way, you are agreeing to the terms of service below

Any statement can be bound to change if discussed with me, the artist, prior to the commission

I. GENERAL TERMS

  • Please write in a clear and polite manner when messaging.

  • Provide clear references when required or a detailed list of what the character(s) physical description is.

  • Any ill behavior will NOT be tolerated, and your commissions will be cancelled if it occurs. If work has already been done, then the estimated cost for the current labor will be charged and you will only receive a refund on the amount not completed for the commission.

  • I, the artist, have the right to decline or cancel a commission for any reason.

  • Commission prices are subject to change, but price changes will not apply if a client is in the work queue for a commission, and they made their commission request before the change took place.

  • Clients MUST state whether or not their commission will be used solely for personal use, or if they intend to use it commercially, and potentially profit off of the work. Commercial work will ALWAYS inquire an additional fee that is at least 3 times the cost of the commission (For example a half body piece intended for commercial use will cost at least $525) THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO NFTs! If sold as an NFT the client voids all rights to ownership, and the contract is void. No refunds will be reissued and the commission will be resold.

  • If a client requests a commission that has a deadline, rush fees will be applied.

  • All NSFW (not safe for work) commissions where nudity, sexual themes, gore, or anything deemed inappropriate for minors will require proof of age with a valid driver’s license or ID. You MUST be 18 years or older to request a NSFW commission, and not all requests will be accepted! Failure to provide proof of age will result in immediate termination of further discussions regarding any future commissions.

  • Any NSFW commissions MUST be done in a professional manner! If the client makes inappropriate comments, advances, or behaves in a manner to make me, the artist, feel uncomfortable then your commission will be canceled and no refund will be issued!

  • If you are a minor, you MUST receive a parent or a guardian’s permission to request a commission. By commissioning me you are agreeing that you received permission from your legal guardians to do so.

II. PAYMENT

  • All commissions must be paid in full at the time of requesting a commission! This is NOT negotiable! Clients will be sent an invoice and given 48 hours to pay the commission in full. Failure to do so will result in the client losing their current position in the work queue. If no payment is made 24 hours after being contacted by the artist, then the commission will be cancelled.

  • The ONLY currency accepted is USD

  • Payment can ONLY be made via PayPal

III. PROCESS

  • To request a commission please contact me through Twitter or Instagram. Do NOT contact me through this website! Any requests made to this site will be ignored!

  • When placing the order specify any time requirements.

  • Include a brief description of the characters physical appearance such as eye color, hair color, any scars, tattoos, or unique attributes.

  • Specify any clothing, props, pets, etc. that need to be included.

  • If references are available, please send them as this makes the process much faster and easier. Acceptable references may include: Photos, drawings, mood boards, or a collection of images that can help convey what the client specifically wants in the commission.

  • Once the commission has been accepted, I will send a PayPal invoice to your email provided.

  • After payment is confirmed, I will add you to my current work queue and begin working on the client’s commission as soon as the clients turn comes up in the queue.

  • Sketch phase: At this point I discuss the basic character design, and I will provide rough sketches for clients to look over to suggest edits until the design is approved. The client may make any drastic changes at this current phase.

  • Inking phase: After the sketch is approved, I will begin inking the sketch. After this phase I will send another copy to look over. ONLY minor design edits can be suggested at this phase. If any large design edits are requested at this phase, they are subject to additional fees.

  • Color phase: Lastly, after the inked drawing is approved, I will begin work on the flat colors, highlights, shadows, and details. The final copy will be sent after completion. ONLY edits to the colors can be made at this time. If the client wants multiple color variations, there will be an additional $5.00 fee per color variation and payment for fees MUST be collected prior to receiving the final .png files.

  • Once the commission is completed, I will send an email with a .png file of the finished piece to the clients preferred email.

  • Each commission is permitted free edits (within reason) during the initial rough sketch phase and a maximum of 3 edits after the sketch has bee approved.

  • Any additional edits will cost between $5-$20 per edit depending on the complexity of the revision. Changes will not be made until the artist has confirmed that payment has been received.

  • Commissions may take several weeks to several months for completion depending on the complexity of the request, number of current clients, place in queue, number of edits, and life circumstances. At this current time there is NO ESTIMATED TIME OF COMPLETION, and all commissions will be completed at my own pace. By commissioning me, you, the client, understand the potential wait time for completion and agree to this condition.

  •  Clients can check their status on the Work Queue section of my website. I will periodically give updates to clients if anything may cause further delays, updates regarding progress, or if I have questions. Personal updates are NOT guaranteed, and the client is responsible for checking the status of their commission(s) in the work queue provided on this website.

IV. COSTUMER SATISFACTION

  • I, the artist, will do everything I can to make my clients satisfied with their commission.

  • However, changes can NOT be made after the work is complete and the client has received their high-resolution files via email.

  • I, the artist, ask that the client be clear with what they would like from the beginning to avoid any major issues and minimize the chance of needing changes made.

V. COPYRIGHT/USAGE POLICY

  • I, the artist, hold every right to the produced drawing, not the client.

Therefore, I am allowed to use the artwork to:

- Promote myself

Use it in books, covers, as props, change it to your liking, and promote your own brand with credit being required for usage of the artwork, even if altered or edited.

VI. CANCELATION/REFUND POLICY

  • I have the right to cancel and refund for a commission at any time.

  • The client may ONLY request a cancellation and refund during the sketch phase. If a cancelation is made at this stage, then the artist will refund only 80% of the total price of the commission (For example: A cancelation on a $100 commission will receive a $80 refund). The 20% not refunded will serve as a cancelation fee for time lost and labor.

  •  No refund will be given if a cancellation is made after the inking stage.

  • Clients MUST allow time for any refunds to be processed through the bank! Once the refund is confirmed via PayPal it can take several business days to go through.

  • If payment has not been made the client has the right to cancel the commission.

  • If you file a chargeback against me, your right to everything I have ever made for you will be retracted and I have the right to sell the copyrighted artwork to new buyers. You will be forbidden to commission me, Natasha Reyes (Also known as BaphiDoodles), ever again.

  • Any clients that file a chargeback will also have a PSA posted alerting other artists to not work with the client to prevent scams. Any and all conversations with the client will no longer be subject to privacy.

About Baphi

I'm just a small town anxious artist trying to get by in the world. I see art as a personal journey that can help people evolve and grow in many ways. I use my art as a means to cope with my own mental health and as a means to support myself. I hope to use my art in a positive way to show that no matter how long or difficult the road may be, that the journey is one worth having. Mistakes may be made along that journey but we can always learn from those mistakes and do better the next day.
